Agreement To These Terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of Astronomy. By using the app, creating an account, starting a subscription, or continuing to use the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use Astronomy. Contact support@myastronomy.app with account, billing, privacy, or support questions.
Eligibility
Astronomy is not for children under 13. You may use Astronomy only if you can form a binding agreement and are allowed to use the service under applicable law.
The Service
Astronomy helps you turn goals into task constellations, track completion, archive or delete constellations, sync account data, and export or delete account data. The service may change as we improve it.
Your Content And Responsibilities
You are responsible for the goals, project text, constellation content, completion state, and other information you enter or generate through Astronomy. You keep ownership of your content, but you grant Astronomy permission to host, process, display, sync, export, delete, and use it as needed to provide and secure the service.
Do not enter sensitive medical, financial, legal, government ID, payment-card, bank, or other high-risk regulated information into goal, project, constellation, or task text.
Acceptable Use
- Do not use Astronomy to break the law or infringe others' rights.
- Do not attempt to access another user's account, data, or billing state.
- Do not interfere with, overload, reverse engineer, or abuse the service.
- Do not submit malicious code, spam, or deceptive content.
- Do not use the service for high-risk regulated decision-making.
Accounts And Security
Supabase Auth provides sign-in. You are responsible for access to your email account, connected sign-in accounts, devices, and browser sessions. Tell us at support@myastronomy.app if you believe your account has been misused.
Subscriptions, Billing, And Cancellation
Paid subscriptions are handled through Stripe Checkout and Stripe Customer Portal. Prices, taxes, renewal periods, and payment details are shown at checkout or in the Customer Portal. Subscriptions may renew automatically until canceled.
Astronomy may offer a free trial for a first subscription without collecting a payment method at checkout. If you do not add a valid payment method before the trial ends, Stripe may cancel the subscription and paid feature access may end. Returning inactive customers may subscribe again without another trial.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through the Stripe Customer Portal from the account menu. Access to paid features generally continues until the end of the paid period unless Stripe status, payment failure, refund, chargeback, cancellation, or account state requires a different result.
Astronomy does not store card numbers, CVCs, or bank account numbers. Stripe may retain payment records as required for legal, tax, payment, fraud-prevention, and dispute reasons.
Refunds
Unless required by law or expressly stated at checkout, payments are not automatically refundable. Contact support@myastronomy.app for billing questions. Any refund decision may depend on Stripe records, subscription state, payment processor rules, and applicable law.
Data Export And Deletion
Account holders can export account data and delete their account from the account menu. Users can also permanently delete visible constellations. Account deletion removes account-related application data. Billing and payment records may be retained when required by law, security, payment, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute obligations.
Planner And AI Output
Astronomy may use model providers to generate task constellations. Planner output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for reviewing plans and deciding whether and how to act on them. Astronomy does not provide medical, legal, financial, safety, or professional advice.
Intellectual Property
Astronomy and its software, design, branding, and documentation are owned by Astronomy or its licensors. You may use the service only as allowed by these Terms. You may not copy, resell, or exploit the service except as permitted by law or written permission.
Service Changes And Availability
We may add, remove, limit, suspend, or change features, pricing, availability, and integrations. We try to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Termination
You may stop using Astronomy or delete your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the service or others, fail to pay, or if required by law or third-party service requirements.
Disclaimers
Astronomy is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy and availability.
Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Astronomy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or service interruption arising from or related to your use of the service.
Indemnity
To the extent allowed by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Astronomy harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your content, your misuse of the service, or your violation of these Terms.
Governing Law And Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules.
Before starting a formal legal claim, you agree to contact us at support@myastronomy.app so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the state and federal courts located in Washington will have jurisdiction, except where applicable law requires a different forum.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Changes To These Terms
We may update these Terms as Astronomy changes. The updated effective date will show when the Terms change. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
